"Cynthia Ann Hendricks, age 61, of Houston, Texas, passed away July 31, 2012, with her mother, Dorothy Kissinger, in Weston, Texas. Cynthia was born April 14, 1951, in McKinney, Texas, to Hubert L. and Dorothy (Dickerson) Kissinger. She married Charles Hendricks on December 19, 1970, in Dallas, Texas.

"Cynthia grew up in Dallas and moved back to McKinney where she graduated from McKinney High School in 1969. She volunteered with the Girl Scouts for twenty-eight years. Cynthia was also active with the Booster Clubs for various sports her children played as well as school activities as they grew up. She enjoyed crafts, camping, vacationing in the mountains, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids. Cynthia was a member of Calvary Chapel Houston in Friendswood, Texas where she was actively involved in many church activities.

"She is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Hendricks, Jr. of Houston, Texas; children, Katherine Spurgers and husband, Steven of Missouri City, Texas, Brian Hendricks of Houston, Texas, and Samantha Hendricks also of Houston; grandchildren, Dakota Rodgers and Sophia Spurgers; sisters, Linda Rankin and husband Charles of Frisco, Texas and Deborah Reyno and husband, Michael of Weston, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

"She was preceded in death by her parents.

"A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 9, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Chapel Houston, 3700 FM 528, Friendswood, Texas, 77546.

Karen Sportsman (Taylor)

It seems she had a great family life after leaving High School.  Just gone way too early.
