A memory of Marvin....

Upon returning from a tour overseas in 1971, I was assigned to Ft. Rucker Alabama. While enjoying a cold beverage at the post bowling ally, a familiar face came walking thru. It took a minute to realize that I recognized somebody from McKinney. It was Marvin!  We talked a while and went our own ways. Never to see him again, but never forgetting either.

Rest in peace

I am so sorry to hear about Marvin. He and Flora and I used to walk home together sometimes while in elementary school. Loved his dry sense of humor. Marvin, you will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to your family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Marvin!  I didn't know him well...but have known him since grade school.  I do remember he was so funny and just loved life!  He made me laugh!  Rest in peace my classmate.

I can remember dancing with Marvin at our reunion at the Youth barn. He could dance! Put a big smile on my face.

I remember Marvin from Jr. High and High School.  He seemed to always be in good mood and happy.  One of the guys you look back on and wish you had taken the time to know him better.  My prayers go out to his family.  May he be in the arms of our savior today.

So sad to hear of the loss of another classmate. He was such a sweet and kind person. To his family, let the memories of Marvin's life comfort you in his death.
